Goodwill Industries of Greater New York and Northern New Jersey, Inc. is a non-sectarian, not-for-profit organization serving people with mental and physical disabilities, the unemployed, new immigrants, ex-offenders, mature workers and underserved youth. Goodwill’s diverse programs span New York City, Northern New Jersey, Long Island and upstate New York. Goodwill serves more than 110,000 people annually.
Goodwill’s mission of putting people to work has never been a higher priority for businesses and for government than it is today. They serve the Greater New York region with a range of effective human service programs to help people achieve participation in society through employment.
In several communities, Goodwill also provides programs to keep young people in school, improve their language and learning skills, and enhance their work-readiness. Goodwill helps thousands of people find productive, meaningful work every day through their programs and services. With Goodwill’s help, people experience the pride and excitement of earning a wage.
In 2008, Goodwill's 85 programs:
Through Goodwill’s 32 retail stores, customers can save on new and gently used clothing and other merchandise while supporting Goodwill's award-winning programs for people in need. Every store gratefully accepts donations and offers a tax receipt. Their retail stores also provide an important opportunity for the people they serve; jobs in their stores are often part of training programs for people with disabilities and other special needs.
The Goodwill Network currently has ten locations throughout Manhattan, Brooklyn, the Bronx and Queens.

Equipment Specifications
- Screens: There are a total of fourteen 46” Samsung LCD screens with one to three located at each store
- Orientation: Horizontal.
- Resolution: 1366 X 768.
- HDTV: Yes.
- Types of files accepted: The system can accommodate JPEG format only.
- Amount of time the ad will be seen on the screen: Each PSA message will appear for approximately 15 seconds and run on a 2 to 3 minutes cycle running on a continuous loop throughout the day.
- Location of the screens: The screens are located in the busiest areas of the stores, usually at the front entrance, near the purchase counter and/or hanging over main shopping areas.
- Time: Approximately 10am till 8pm, 7 days a week.
- Other details: Materials should be prepared horizontally to be displayed full screen.
