For the uninsured and many low-income people, hospital and medical care center emergency departments are a vital entrance to the health care system. There are an estimated 2.5 million New Yorkers who lack health insurance, many of whom end up depending on emergency rooms for their medical care.
Low-income New Yorkers may be depending on emergency department care even more as Medicaid enrollment declines and physician reimbursement rates are cut. As individuals lose their healthcare benefits, they tend to wait longer and longer to seek basic care for preventable ailments leading to more emergency room visits.
This is why FY Eye has been working closely with various health care centers and hospitals to expand the digital signage network to reach at-risk audiences. Through this segment of our network, we are able to reach millions of New Yorkers, many of whom are low-income families who benefit greatly from the PSAs that are highlighted throughout each high-trafficked location.
Below is a list of current locations as well as locations currently under installation. Each location hosts numerous screens installed in the busiest areas of their facilities. Through these screens you can reach a dynamic audience of staff, doctors, nurses, patients and visitors.
