Kingsborough Community College
Kingsborough Community College is located on a 70-acre campus in Manhattan Beach, on the southern tip of Brooklyn, New York. Founded in 1963, the College serves approximately thirty thousand students per year, offering a wide range of credit and non-credit courses in the liberal arts and career education, as well as a number of specialized programs. It offers open access to education by accepting all students with a high school diploma or GED and provides developmental courses as well as English as a second language instruction.
In addition, Kingsborough offers a number of programs for special populations, including the My Turn program for senior citizens; College Now, a unique partnership with area high schools.; the Leon M. Goldstein High School for the Sciences, a public school located on the Kingsborough campus; and Family College that provides public schooling on campus for the children of Kingsborough students who are on public assistance.
As Brooklyn’s community college, Kingsborough sponsors hundreds of community events each year that attract visitors to the campus, including a free summer music festival and a performing arts festival. Last year more than 200,000 people attended special events hosted by Kingsborough.

Equipment Specifications
- Screens: There are four screens they are 46” each and create a video wall they are LCD and are manufactured by Samsung. We have created a video wall in an air conditioned enclosure consisting of four Samsung model 460UXn monitors.
- Orientation: Horizontal.
- Resolution: 1366 x 768, contrast ratio 1200:1 (DC 5000:1).
- HDTV: No.
- Types of files accepted: It can display all of the above and we have been using all of them, we have not tested it with RSS feeds but we know that it can be done.
- Amount of time the ad will be seen on the screen: Each screen is visible for more then 1 minute since more then 40 percent of the screens are PSA we expect to see them at least 25 minutes in an hour.
- Location of the screens: They are located at the Main entrance of the campus, please see the schematic showing the location.
- Time: 24/7.
- Other details: The video wall is in an air conditioned enclosure consisting of four Samsung model 460UXn. Monitors that can be seen at a viewing angle of 178 degrees.
