NYU Langone Medical Center is an academic medical center in New York City. It was named to the Honor Roll of US News Best Hospitals in the nation for 2009-2010. The Medical Center comprises NYU School of Medicine and three hospitals: Tisch Hospital, Rusk Institute of Rehabilitation Medicine, and NYU Hospital for Joint Diseases. The medical center's mission is tri-fold: patient care, biomedical research, and medical education. For over 167 years, NYU physicians and researchers have made contributions to the practice and science of health care. The Medical Center also includes such major programs as the NYU Cancer Institute, the NYU Child Study Center, the Hassenfeld Children’s Center for Cancer and Blood Disorders, and the Charles C. Harris Skin & Cancer Pavilion, considered the most prestigious dermatology institute in the United States.

Equipment Specifications:

  • Screens: There are ten 50” plasma screens located throughout the main medical center building
  • Orientation: Horizontal.
  • Resolution: 1600 x 900, 16:9 aspect ratio
  • HDTV: Yes.
  • Types of files accepted: This is a flash based system that can accommodate all SWF files as well as JPEG, GIF, Photoshop and Illustrator files.  All images need to be as high resolution as possible considering the screens run at 1600 x 900.
  • Amount of time the ad will be seen on the screen: Each PSA message will appear for approximately 15 - 20 seconds.

  • Time: All the screens run 24 hours a day
  • Other details: Materials should be prepared horizontally to allow full screen display. Flash files should have a frame rate of 40fps.  Static images can be prepared as 1366 x 768 to 1600 x 900 and all materials will be scaled to fit the screens.
