Selfhelp Benjamin Rosenthal-Prince Street Senior Center
Selfhelp operates six senior centers in Queens that offer Selfhelp housing tenants and more than 6,000 seniors living nearby a wide variety of educational and social activities.
Their social workers help senior citizens with short-term counseling and referrals to community resources, advise on quality of life and entitlement services, and assistance with applications for benefits. Exercise and health related classes, bi-monthly blood pressure screenings, vision and auditory health screenings, annual flu and pneumonia shots are available to all.
