Department for the Aging Senior Centers
Senior Centers offer a great variety of programs for senior residents of public housing and their neighbors in the community. Whether it is located within a Community Center or a stand-alone facility, local Senior Centers offer a full calendar of activities from bingo to gardening, movies and field trips. Most Senior Centers also provide nutritious meals and snacks daily. Senior Centers are open from 9:00am to 5:00pm, Monday through Friday.
The Department of Aging identified two of the busiest Senior Centers in New York City to join the FY Eye digital signage program. By partnering with Senior Centers, we are able to reach vulnerable seniors who may be interested in learning about your programs, services and general awareness messages.
